Yesterday, two Progressive Majority endorsed candidates took the oath of Denver City Council office.  Both Paul Lopez and Chris Nevitt worked extremely hard raising money and knocking on doors and talking to voters about their message of helping ALL Denver families.

Tuesday, June 5 was a historic day in Denver, Colorado with both Paul Lopez and Chris Nevitt winning their respective city council races by 62% to 38% and 63% to 37% respectively.

On Tuesday, May 1, Progressive Majority endorsed candidates, Paul Lopez and Chris Nevitt, both dominated their respective Denver City Council races.

The Fort Collins City Council is now controlled 4-3 by progressives!!  Progressive Majority candidates David Roy and Lisa Poppaw executed this powershift by winning their elections on Tuesday.

Building on the immense success of and positive reactions to last year’s conference, next month we will be gathering to discuss creative and innovative ways to increase political participation of communities of color in Colorado.
