Pennsylvania Primary Victories

It was another great night for Progressive Majority candidates in Pennsylvania's primary election, where we went 5-0.
<p>
We targeted several tough, down-ballot races in swing suburban Bucks and Chester counties so we can continue building the farm team there for years to come. Yesterday, our candidates wore their progressive values proudly, fought hard and won their primaries, and they look forward to even tougher contests in Nov...

The results of the November '08 election are challenging the view of a traditional voter. According to Project Vote, the participation of White and older voters dropped last year, and the number of people of color and voters under 30 increased. In fact, young people of color had the largest turnout gains with an increase of 1.6 million more votes than the 2004 election.
