Josh Maxwell is running for election to the Pennsylvania State House in a new district, District 74. Josh ran for the State House in 2012 prior to Pennsylvania’s redistricting and lost by a slim margin in the general election. Josh is currently serving his second term as Mayor of the borough of Downington. He was first elected to the office at the age of 26, making him the youngest mayor in the history of the borough. Josh was the first Mayor in Downingtown to be available by email, phone or office visit. Josh is also the first Mayor to hold office hours and make borough hall available to all residents. Due to funding problems on the state level, Josh created two non-profits to help deal with issues of education funding and job training.
