Julie Palakovich Carr is running for Rockville City Council. Julie has contributed to numerous initiatives to improve the community. She served on Rockville’s Environment Commission and chaired the Adequate Public Facilities Ordinance Committee, a citizen group convened by Rockville’s Planning Commission to review the City’s growth policies and to make recommendations. Currently, she works for the American Institute of Biological Sciences, a non‐profit scientific association.
