Karin Uhlich is running for re-election to Tucson City Council. A resident of Tucson since 1993, she serves as the Executive Director of the Southwest Center for Economic Integrity, a non-profit research and advocacy organization. Karin was elected to City Council in 2005 and was re-elected to her second term in 2009. She served as the Executive Director of Primavera Services (Primavera Foundation) for nine years, an affordable housing, job training, and homeless services agency with an annual budget of $2 million and a staff of 50 people. Prior to moving to Tucson, she worked as a Congressional Aide and Executive Director of the Food Bank Council of Michigan.
