State Representative, District 175
Mike has served in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives since 2007. He is a leading advocate for women's health and working family issues. He has fought for funding in the state budget for obstetric and neonatal services, breast and cervical cancer screening, maternal and child health and child care assistance, among others.
Mike is a strong proponent of public education and has fought for state support for funding full-day kindergarten, smaller class sizes, tutoring, pre-K learning and other programs that have been proven to help kids succeed. He continues to be at the forefront of making sure Pennsylvania’s gambling industry upholds its promise to taxpayers and those neighborhoods and residents directly impacted by casinos.
