Smart Campaign Spending

This online training was conducted by Progressive Majority National Political Director Matt Filner on Smart Campaign Spending on March 23, 2010. One of the key elements of a successful campaign is wise spending. Every candidate is required to make a series of decisions about how to spend the money they raise. This online training walked candidates through many of those key spending decisions and provided them concrete guidance for how to spend money in the most cost-effective way. Specifically, Matt discussed budgeting, hiring staff and consultants, purchasing materials, and making key paid media decisions.
